When is the 2024 internal medicine ITE (IM-ITE)?
August 15–September 4, 2024 (except September 2).
How long is the IM-ITE?
The exam has 300 questions, 260 of which are scored and 40 of which are unscored. You have 9 hours to complete the exam (7 hours for the test itself, and 2 hours of scheduled breaks).

How many questions are on the ABIM board exam?
There are 240 total questions administered in 4 blocks of 60 questions each.
According to the ABIM website, you will have up to 2 hours to complete each block of questions.
When do ABIM results come out?
They are released within 3 months.
How long does ABIM certification last?
10 years.
