Accounts and Technical

Do you offer a free trial?

Absolutely! You can try out a number of sample questions in the actual app by creating a free account (no billing information required—we promise). You will get a fully functional account, forever, with a limited number of questions. If you love it, you can easily purchase a full content subscription. You won’t be charged at any point during your trial until you make a purchase.

How do I get started?

Whether you have a trial account or you purchased a subscription, access Rosh Review by logging in at app.roshreview.com.

To access the Qbank, go to the Create Exam tab to begin making and taking exams made up of questions from the Qbank.

You can find any boost exams under the My Exams → Boost Exam tab.

Once you’ve completed and submitted a few exams, you can see your statistics under the Performance Analysis tab.

How do I reset my account?

Need a reset? It’s easy but can’t be undone, so beware!

To clear your progress data and start over with the question bank, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to Account Settings on the right side of the navigation bar

screen-shot-2015-04-28-at-19-15-01

    screen-shot-2016-10-14-at-8-02-37-amAgain, this can’t be undone–you’ve been warned!
What time does my subscription expire?

Your subscription will expire at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on the date of expiration. Verify your expiration date under your Account Settings tab. For example, if your subscription expires on 1/31, you will still have access throughout the day of the 31st until that night.

How do I download the mobile app?

Want to take your Qbank on the go? Download the Rosh Review mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Can I use my subscription from multiple devices and locations?

Phone…laptop…tablet…yep! You can access your subscription from as many locations and as many devices as you want and have. However, we recommend starting and completing exams on a single device.

Keep in mind that sharing accounts is not allowed, so simultaneous logins are not allowed. Any abuse of the Terms & Conditions will result in cancellation of your account.

Please download the mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Which package should I purchase?

You should purchase the package that matches the exam you’re preparing to take. For example, if you’re a resident preparing for the Initial Certification Exam, the Initial Certification Exam Qbank will prepare you for the actual test better than the In-Training Exam Qbank will. But note that resident Qbanks do not offer CME and contain fewer questions overall than the attending Qbanks. Sign up for a free trial first to make sure you love your Qbank before purchasing.

If you don’t see a package that aligns with your specialty or training level, email us at support@roshreview.com for guidance.

Do you offer CME?

Absolutely! CME is available with all attending-level and PANRE Qbanks.

CME is not available for our resident or student Qbanks or for group subscriptions.

If you wish to add CME to your account, email support@roshreview.com.

How do I get my AAPA Self-Assessment CME certificate?

Here’s how to claim your credit and get your certificate: There are a total of 400 questions that you will need to complete. You don’t need to complete them all at once, but you do need to score at least 70% to get credit. If you score below 70%, don’t worry—you’re covered! You can retake questions until your cumulative score is above 70%. Ready to get started?

  • Sign in with the email address and password you created
  • Go to the Create Exam tab and choose how many questions you want per exam
  • Repeat this until you complete all 400 questions (you’ll see the number of available questions in parentheses next to the Select Categories dropdown decrease as you complete questions)
  • Review and retake your exams, if needed, by going to the Exam History tab

After you complete all 400 questions and score above 70% correct, send an email to cme@roshreview.com. We’ll review your score to double-check that you qualify, and then you’ll be emailed a certificate. Your name will also be submitted to the AAPA for 20 Self-Assessment CME credits, but this is done annually in December, so you’re responsible for self-reporting if you require CME prior to then.

Wondering how long it takes to receive your certificate? Sometimes 10 seconds (if you catch us at the perfect moment), mostly 2 days, and always within 1 week after you email.

How do I earn and claim my CME? (For Qbanks)

You can receive 100 AMA PRA Cat 1 CME credits for many of our Qbanks. The module is in Qbank format, and there are varying numbers of questions depending on which Qbank you subscribe to. You don’t have to do all of the questions at once, but you do need to score at least 70% to get credit. If you score below 70%, don’t worry—you’re covered! You can retake questions until your cumulative score is above 70%.

Once you’ve completed your Qbank, email cme@roshreview.com to obtain your certificate.

Wondering how long it takes to receive your certificate? Sometimes 10 seconds (if you catch us at the perfect moment), usually 2 days, and always within 1 week after you email us.

Find more details about earning and claiming CME here.

Can I earn CME if I’m part of a group subscription?

The only way to earn CME on a group subscription is if the whole group purchased the CME option when you signed up. If you’re interested in including CME with your subscription, please let your education specialist know at sales@roshreview.com so this can be included in your quote. Otherwise, you can purchase an individual subscription here.

Can I delete a test that I accidentally submitted?

You don’t currently have the ability to delete an exam. However, you can always retake an exam by going to Exam History → Retake.

If a deletion feature is important to you, please let us know by emailing support@roshreview.com.

What should I do if I forgot my password?

It happens to all of us—who can possibly remember all of these passwords? You can reset your password here.

What should I do if I'm having troubles with my internet browser?

You probably have a favorite browser…and we do too! For the optimal Rosh Review experience, use the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox.

Having problems with Safari when you log in or when accessing tests? Try the following:

  • Quit and relaunch Safari.
  • Update your Safari software or your system software. Check for available software updates and install them.
  • Empty the browser caches and site data. Sometimes Safari caches can cause strange browser behavior.
    • On Mac, go to Safari in the menu bar Preferences Privacy Remove all website data, and confirm you want to remove website data.
    • On iOS, go to Settings app Safari Clear History and Website Data and confirm you want to remove and clear website data.
    • Note that by clearing caches, cookies, and site data you will have to log in again to any site where you have saved a password or other customizations.

If none of those steps work, try downloading Google Chrome. If the site loads in Chrome and not in Safari, it may indicate a specific problem with Safari.

What should I do if my login doesn't work?

Did you forget your password? No judgment—it happens to everyone! You can reset your password here

Are you logging in on the right app? Go to https://app.roshreview.com/ and try logging in there. Sometimes people accidentally try to log in on the help portal or some other place.

Are you using Rosh Review from inside a hospital firewall? Please work with your tech team to allow access to the site.

Still not working? Please submit a request or contact us at support@roshreview.com.

You can try a trial subscription to Rosh Review that lasts indefinitely, so sign up for the free trial before making a purchase. Ask your colleagues what they think. Hold a seance. Try before you buy.

How do I get a receipt?

Download a receipt of your purchase by logging into your account and going to the Account Settings tab, then choose Download for the receipt you need.

Is the information I provide secure?

Yes—your security is taken seriously. The personal information you provide is always highly secure, and we do not store any credit card information. When purchasing a subscription, all payment information is sent over an encrypted TLS connection to the payment gateway. Your credit card payments will be processed using the Stripe gateway. Stripe is the preferred global payment processing service for e-commerce, providing server-based, multi-currency payment solutions. This allows customers to process secure transactions in real time, 24/7, and use multiple currencies.

For more information, see the Privacy Policy.

What should I do if my credit card transaction was declined?

If you get this message while subscribing, it means your payment transaction didn’t go through. Your card-issuing bank may have declined the transaction because it may not match your online transaction pattern, exceeds your purchase limit, or there was an incorrect entry of subscriber information, such as card number, CVV code, expiration date, or name on the card.

Please contact your card-issuing bank to resolve the problem and then try again. If you prefer, you can use a different card or payment as mentioned above. Still having problems? Email us at support@roshreview.com.

When does a new subscription or renewal begin?

Within minutes after you submit your payment. Instant gratification!

Can I extend my group subscription?

Yes, you can. If you purchased as part of a student or resident-organized group, for $49/month you can extend your individual access to your current group subscription.

You must contact us within 1 week of your subscription expiring.

Email us at support@roshreview.com and let us know how long you need to extend, and we will send you a payment link for the cost.

This extension does not apply to subscriptions purchased on your behalf by your program.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and gold bars (just kidding—please don’t try this. It sounds heavy.)

If you’d like to pay with PayPal, send an email to support@roshreview.com for a payment link.

How do I provide feedback on a question?

How often is the material updated?

All content is continually and routinely reviewed based on the current changes in medicine.

What is the difference between Test Mode and Tutor Mode when creating exams?

In Test Mode, you won’t see any answers or explanations until you submit the test. In Tutor Mode, you see the correct answer and explanation after every question before you move to the next question.

What is the One Step Further question?

Each question in your Qbank is actually two questions (bonus!). First, there is the standard board question with a clinical vignette and four or five answer choices to choose from. Then there is an optional question that appears after the explanation called the One Step Further (OSF) question. This is a fact-based question with a simple, memorizable answer that serves as a reinforcement tool to the explanation of the question.

Where can I find assigned assessments and boost exams?

If you are subscribed through a program, your program may choose to assign assessments. You’ll find any assigned assessments under the My Exams Assessments tab. If you expect to see exams here but do not, please contact your Program Coordinator or Director.

You can purchase a number of supplemental exams from your account homepage. These exams can be found in the My Exams Boost Exams tab.

What is your pass rate?

We don’t publish pass rates. Here’s why.

Who writes the questions and explanations?

The finest people around! Question writers are board-certified clinicians who have all performed well on their certification exams. Answer explanations are derived from the specialty’s authoritative resources with some personal input to simplify the material and synthesize it for greatest comprehension and recall.

If you’re interested in becoming a question writer, tell us a bit about yourself and we’ll be in touch.

Why is some of the text bolded in the explanations?

This technique helps to reinforce the most critical characteristics of a topic that are likely to be tested on the exam. It also allows for a quick, broad review of a topic.

Are the incorrect answer choices discussed?

Absolutely. It’s just as critical to know why something is incorrect as it is to know why something is correct. That’s why every answer option is discussed in the explanation section. We aim to provide explicit reasons for why the incorrect choices are indeed incorrect.

To see for yourself, why not try it out for free?

How do I become a question writer?

Do you have what it takes? Let’s see—answer these four questions:

  1. 1. Are you interested in helping thousands of students and physicians reach their goals and achieve their dreams? Great! This is the core of what we do, and we’re looking for like-minded individuals to join the content creation team.
  2. 2. Do you pay attention to detail? Excellent! Question writers are detail-oriented and always deliver the highest quality content.
  3. 3. Are you continuously self-improving? Wonderful! So are we—it’s part of our DNA. There is no “good enough.”
  4. 4. Do you care about people? Perfect! We are founded by doctors who believe it is a privilege to interact with and care for individuals.

If you answered “Yes” to the four questions above, please provide some information and we’ll get in touch with the next steps.

How do you decide which topics to cover?

Every question in your Qbank is based on topics found in the most recent version of your specialty’s practice model. As you review each question, the category that correlates with the material being tested will appear on the screen. If it’s not in the model, it won’t be on the exam.

Do you provide just the correct answer or an explanation with it?

Every question in the Qbank includes a detailed explanation about the correct answer. You can think of the explanations are custom built—presented in such a way that the take-home point is obvious and there is no superfluous information.

Why not try it out for free?

Can I save my subscription content to my hard drive or print the material?

No—Rosh Review is solely an electronic Qbank. You can access your Qbank on your mobile device by downloading the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Attempting to print, save, copy, or screen capture Rosh Review materials is strictly prohibited. Attempts to use system commands or third-party utilities to capture or save our content is considered copyright infringement and breach of the Terms & Conditions. All user activity is diligently monitored, so attempts to circumvent this may lead to account suspension, termination without refund, or legal action. Please don’t give us a reason to do this!

Are One Step Further questions tracked as part of my statistical analysis?

No, only your answers to the standard multiple-choice questions are tracked.
