Of course! You can try out a number of sample questions in the actual application by creating a free account (no billing information required). You will get a fully-functional account forever with a limited number of questions. When you decide that you love it, you can easily purchase a full content subscription.

No problem. To reset your account and clear your progress data so that you can start over with the question bank, just follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Account Settings” on the right side of the navigation bar.screen-shot-2015-04-28-at-19-15-01
  2. Scroll down and click “Reset Account”.
    reset

Yes, you will have access to your subscription from as many locations and as many devices as you desire. Keep in mind, however, that sharing accounts is not allowed, so simultaneous logins are not allowed. Any abuse of the Terms & Conditions will result in cancellation of your account.

Some users have had trouble selecting between test and tutor mode, choosing categories, or using some of the other selectors in the app because of a change in how Apple handles interface elements such as drop-down menus.

Our new native iOS app will be out soon (it’s in the Apple approval process right now). In the mean time, we suggest just opening Safari on your device and going to app.roshreview.com. It has the same functionality in the mobile browser as you can access in the app.

Yes, we do! CME is available for physicians in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine by completing the Attending + CME Question Bank.

CME is also available for Physician Assistants via the AAPA Self-Assessment program or the PANCE/PANRE + CME Question Bank.

Rosh Review is pleased to offer 20 AAPA Cat 1 CME credits in both general practice and emergency medicine. To purchase, take a look at this page.

Here is how to claim your credit and get your certificate:
The Rosh Review Self Assessment module is in Question Bank format. There are a total of 400 questions that you will need to complete (don’t worry, you don’t have to do it all at once). But you do need to score at least a 50% to get credit. If you score below 50%…you can retake questions until your cumulative score is above 50%. Ready to get started?

  1. Sign in with the email address and password you created.
  2. Select the “Create Exam” tab and decide on the number of questions you want per exam.
  3. Repeat this until you complete all 400 questions (you’ll see the number of available questions in parentheses next to the “Select Categories” dropdown decrease as you complete questions).
  4. You can review and retake your exams (if needed) by clicking on the “Exam History” tab.

After you complete all 400 questions and score above 50% correct – simply send an email to cme@roshreview.com to tell us you completed the module. We will review your score and if you qualify, we will email you a certificate. We will also submit your name to the AAPA for 20 Self Assessment CME credits, but this is done annually in December so you are responsible for self-reporting if you require CME prior to our submission.

How long does it take to get a certificate after you complete all 400 questions?
Sometimes 10 seconds, mostly 2 days, always within a week after you send your email to cme@roshreview.com.

At present, we don’t have the ability to delete an exam. However, you can always retake an exam by going to Exam History → Retake. If a deletion feature is important to you, please leave us a comment below.

No problem. Just visit https://app.roshreview.com/subscribers/forgot_password, and we will get it reset for you.

Rosh Review works optimally in Google Chrome. Any browser is preferred to Internet Explorer. If you are experiencing any minor problems upon login or accessing tests it may be due to the Internet Explorer browser.

We have run into a couple users who have had a problem with recents upgrades of Internet Explorer that result in the login page refreshing with no error message and no indication that something is wrong, except that you can’t login

If you are using Internet Explorer and have a refreshing login page, please try clearing your browser cache and then try logging in again.

This is how to clear your browser cache:

  1. Go to the “TOOLS” or “SAFETY” menu
  2. Select “DELETE BROWSING HISTORY” (if menu bar is hidden, press Alt to make visible)
  3. Uncheck “Preserve Favorites Website Data” AND
  4. Check “Temporary Internet Files” or “Temporary Internet Files and website files”

Firefox, Chrome, and Safari are unaffected by this issue.

Not allowed to open the Tools menu because of security restrictions at work?

  1. Try pressing F12 to opens a developer console at the bottom of the window
  2. Click on Cache → Clear Cache
  3. Click on Cache → Always refresh from server

If you want to subscribe to more than one question bank at the same time, for example the PANCE and AAPA Self Assessment CME packages, you must have two separate accounts with different email addresses. Rosh Review currently allows only one question bank per email account, so if you want access to a second question bank just create a second login.

Sometimes, your former residents may appear on the PD Dash, despite having already graduated. This is so that you may retain access to their performance data that was acquired while they were residents. In addition, you can track their scores on in-training and board exams to evaluate program trends over time.

If you have questions about a specific resident, please submit a request or contact us at support@roshreview.com.

We will preserve your account data after your subscription expires. If you renew, all of your statistics will still be available, but you can choose to clear them if you want.

Content

Absolutely. We thoroughly review every question and answer, but certainly may have missed something. We are human, too.

Feel free to send an email to editor@roshreview.com with the Question ID and your concern. We will review it immediately and get back to you.

No, only your answers to the standard multiple-choice questions are tracked.

You should know better…

Rosh Review is an electronic question bank, not a book. Take us with you on your mobile device.

Printing, saving, copying, screen capture, etc. of Rosh Review materials is strictly prohibited. Attempts to use system commands or third party utilities to capture/print/save/copy our content is considered copyright infringement and breach of the Terms and Conditions. We monitor all user activity diligently, so attempts to circumvent this may lead to account suspension, termination without refund, and/or legal action.

You will be provided with the correct answer and a detailed explanation for every question in the question bank. We like to say that our explanations our “custom-built”… presented in such a way that the take-home point is obvious and there is no superfluous information.

Why not try it out for free?

Remember, we believe in relevance, focusing on material that is most likely to appear on the actual exam. Therefore, every question in the bank is based on topics found in the most recent version of your specialty’s practice model. As you review each question, the category will appear on the screen that correlates with the material being tested. If it is not in the model, it will not be on the exam.

What if I noticed a typo? What if I disagree with your answer?

Please send us your feedback! To send us your comments on a particular question, use the “Submit Feedback” link on that question’s answer page.

We routinely review and update all of our content based on the current changes in medicine.

In Test Mode, you can navigate among all of the questions in the exam without seeing any answers or explanations until you submit the test. Your answers are scored and you see correct answers after finishing the entire exam.

In Tutor Mode, you move question-by-question, seeing the correct answer and explanation after every question, before the next question appears.

Each question in our database is actually two questions. There is the standard board question with a clinical vignette and four answer choices to choose from. There is also an optional question that appears after the explanation and is called the One Step Further Question (OSF). This question is a simple factoid-based question with a simple, memorizable answer that serves as a reinforcement tool to the explanation of the question.

Rosh Review does not publish pass rates. Here is why

Only the finest… and then some. Our question writers are board-certified physicians who have all taken the In-Training and Certification Exams (and performed very well). Our explanations are derived from the specialty’s authoritative resources with a little personal input to simplify the material and synthesize it for greatest comprehension and recall… we call this the “whipped cream.”

If you are interested in becoming a question writer please email editor@roshreview.com for more information!

This technique helps to reinforce the most critical characteristics of a topic that are likely to be tested on the exam. It also allows for a quick, broad review of a topic.

Absolutely. We believe that it is just as critical to know why something is correct as it is to know why something is incorrect. Therefore, every answer option will be discussed in the explanation section. We try to provide explicit reasons for why the incorrect choices are indeed incorrect.
