Accounts and Technical

Absolutely! You can try out a number of sample questions in the actual application by creating a free account (no billing information required—we promise). You will get a fully functional account, forever, with a limited number of questions. When you decide that you love it, you can easily purchase a full content subscription. We won’t charge you at any point during your trial until you decide to make a purchase.

Whether you have a trial account or you purchased a subscription, access Rosh Review by logging in at app.roshreview.com.

To access the Qbank, go to the Create Exam tab to begin making and taking exams made up of questions from the Qbank.

You can find any boost exams under the My Exams Boost Exam tab.

Once you’ve completed and submitted a few exams, you can see your statistics under the Performance Analysis tab.

Want to take your Qbank on the go? Download our Rosh Review mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

Phone…laptop…tablet…yep! You can access your subscription from as many locations and as many devices as you want and have. However, we recommend starting and completing exams on a single device.

Keep in mind that sharing accounts is not allowed, so simultaneous logins are not allowed. Any abuse of the Terms & Conditions will result in cancellation of your account.

Please download our mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

We recommend purchasing the package that matches the exam you’re preparing to take. Taking the Initial Certification Exam? While you could subscribe to the In-Training Exam Qbank, subscribing to the Initial Certification Exam Qbank will better prepare you for the actual test. But note that the resident Qbanks do not offer CME and contain fewer questions overall than the attending Qbanks.

If you don’t see a package that aligns with your specialty or training level, email us at support@roshreview.com for guidance. And make sure to sign up for a free trial to our Qbanks prior to purchasing.

We sure do! CME is available with all of our attending-level and PANRE Qbanks.

CME is not available for our resident or student Qbanks or for group subscriptions.

If you wish to add CME to your account, email support@roshreview.com.

We offer 20 AAPA Cat 1 CME credits in both general practice and emergency medicine. Our Self-Assessment module is in Qbank format. To purchase, take a look at this page.

Here’s how to claim your credit and get your certificate: There are a total of 400 questions that you will need to complete. You don’t need to complete them all at once, but you do need to score at least a 70% to get credit. If you score below 70%, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! You can retake questions until your cumulative score is above 70%. Ready to get started?

  1. Sign in with the email address and password you created.
  2. Go to the Create Exam tab and choose how many questions you want per exam
  3. Repeat this until you complete all 400 questions (you’ll see the number of available questions in parentheses next to the Select Categories dropdown decrease as you complete questions)
  4. Review and retake your exams, if needed, by going to the Exam History tab

After you complete all 400 questions and score above 70% correct, send an email to cme@roshreview.com. We’ll review your score to double-check that you qualify, and then we’ll email you a certificate. W’ll also submit your name to the AAPA for 20 Self-Assessment CME credits, but this is done annually in December, so you’re responsible for self-reporting if you require CME prior to our submission.

Wondering how long it takes to receive your certificate? Sometimes 10 seconds (if you catch us at the perfect moment), mostly 2 days, always within 1 week after you email us.

We offer 100 AMA PRA Cat 1 CME credits for many of our Qbanks. The module is in Qbank format, and there are varying numbers of questions depending on which Qbank you subscribe to. You don’t have to do all of the questions at once, but you do need to score at least a 70% to get credit. If you score below 70%, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! You can retake questions until your cumulative score is above 70%.

Once you’ve completed your Qbank, email cme@roshreview.com to obtain your certificate.

Wondering how long it takes to receive your certificate? Sometimes 10 seconds (if you catch us at the perfect moment), usually 2 days, and always within 1 week after you email us.

Find more details about earning and claiming CME here.

The only way to earn CME on a group subscription is if the whole group purchased the CME option when you signed up. If you’re interested in including CME with your subscription, please let your education specialist know at sales@roshreview.com so this can be included in your quote. Otherwise, you can purchase an individual subscription here

We don’t currently have the ability to delete an exam. However, you can always retake an exam by going to Exam History → Retake.

If a deletion feature is important to you, please let us know by emailing support@roshreview.com.

It happens to all of us—who can possibly remember all of these passwords? Reset your password by going to https://app.roshreview.com/subscribers/forgot_password

We know you have a favorite browser…and we do too! For the optimal Rosh Review experience, we suggest you use the latest version of Google Chrome or Firefox.

Having problems with Safari when you log in or when accessing tests? Try the following:

  1. Quit and relaunch Safari.
  2. Update your Safari software or your system software. Check for available software updates and install them.
  3. Empty the browser caches and site data. Sometimes Safari caches can cause strange browser behavior.
    • On Mac, go to Safari in the menu bar Preferences Privacy Remove all website data, and confirm you want to remove website data.
    • On iOS, go to Settings app Safari Clear History and Website Data and confirm you want to remove and clear website data.
    • Note that by clearing caches, cookies, and site data you will have to log in again to any site where you have saved a password or other customizations.

If none of those steps work, try downloading Google Chrome. If the site loads in Chrome and not in Safari, it may indicate a specific problem with Safari.

Did you forget your password? No judgment—we all do it. Visit https://app.roshreview.com/subscribers/forgot_password to reset it.

Are you logging in on the right app? Go to https://app.roshreview.com/, and try logging in there. Sometimes people accidentally try to log in on the help portal or some other place, thinking it’s Rosh Review.

Are you using Rosh Review from inside a hospital firewall? Please work with your tech team to allow access to our site.

Still not working? Please submit a request or contact us at support@roshreview.com.

You can use one account to subscribe to multiple Qbanks as long as they are within the same specialty.

To subscribe to Qbanks with different specialties, you will need to create separate accounts with different email addresses.

What can you do if you are seeking clarification or disagree with an aspect of a question? We’re run by clinicians, not robots! We thoroughly review every customer question. We offer a trial subscription to Rosh Review that lasts indefinitely, so try us out before you make a purchase. Ask your colleagues what they think. Hold a seance. Try before you buy.

Once you make your purchase, we don’t offer a refund unless you fail your exam. If this is the case, see the FAQ above, “What is the pass guarantee for a failed exam?”

Yes—we take your security seriously. The personal information you provide is always highly secure, and we do not store any credit card information. When purchasing a subscription, all payment information is sent over an encrypted TLS connection to our payment gateway. Your credit card payments will be processed using the Stripe gateway. Stripe is the preferred global payment processing service for e-commerce, providing server-based, multi-currency payment solutions. This allows customers to process secure transactions in real time, 24/7, and use multiple currencies.

For more information, see our Privacy Policy.

If you get this message while subscribing, it means your payment transaction didn’t go through. Your card-issuing bank may have declined the transaction because it may not match your online transaction pattern, exceeds your purchase limit, or there was an incorrect entry of subscriber information, such as card number, CVV code, expiration date, or name on card.

Please contact the card-issuing bank to resolve the problem and then try again. If you prefer, you can use a different card or payment as mentioned above. Still having problems? Email us at support@roshreview.com.

Within minutes after you submit your payment. Instant gratification!

Yes, you can. If you purchased as part of a student or resident-organized group, for $45/month you can extend your individual access to your current group subscription.

You must contact us within one week of your subscription expiring; after all, you are requesting a continuation of your current access.

Just email us at support@roshreview.com and let us know how long you need to extend, and we will send you a payment link for the cost.

This extension does not apply to subscriptions purchased on your behalf by your program.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and gold bars (just kidding—please don’t try this. It sounds heavy.)

If you’d like to pay with PayPal, send an email to support@roshreview.com for a payment link.

We continually and routinely review and update all of our content based on the current changes in medicine.

In Test Mode, you won’t see any answers or explanations until you submit the test. In Tutor Mode, you see the correct answer and explanation after every question before you move to the next question.

Each question in our database is actually two questions (bonus!). First, there is the standard board question with a clinical vignette and four answer choices to choose from. Then there is also an optional question that appears after the explanation called the One Step Further (OSF) question. This is a fact-based question with a simple, memorizable answer that serves as a reinforcement tool to the explanation of the question.

If you are subscriber through a residency or PA program, your program may choose to assign you assessments. If your program has assigned you assessments you’ll find them in your account under the My Exams > Assessments tab. If you expect to see exams here but do not, please contact your Program Coordinator or Director regarding assignments.

We have a number of supplemental exams available for purchase from your account Homepage. These exams can then be found in your account under the My Exams > Boost exam tab.

We don’t publish pass rates. Here’s why

The finest people around! Our question writers are board-certified physicians, PA-Cs, and nurse practitioners who have all taken the in-training and certification exams (and performed very well). Our explanations are derived from the specialty’s authoritative resources with some personal input to simplify the material and synthesize it for greatest comprehension and recall. If you’re interested in becoming a question writer, tell us a bit about yourself and we’ll be in touch.

This technique helps to reinforce the most critical characteristics of a topic that are likely to be tested on the exam. It also allows for a quick, broad review of a topic.

Absolutely. We believe it’s just as critical to know why something is incorrect as it is to know why something is correct. That’s why every answer option is discussed in the explanation section. We try to provide explicit reasons for why the incorrect choices are indeed incorrect.

To see for yourself, why not try it out for free?

Do you have what it takes? Let’s see—answer these four questions:

  1. Are you interested in helping thousands of students and physicians reach their goals and achieve their dreams? Great! This is the core of what we do, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team of content creators.
  2. Do you pay attention to detail? Excellent! Our question writers are detail oriented and always deliver the highest quality content.
  3. Are you continuously self-improving? Super! So are we—it’s part of our DNA. There is no “good enough.”
  4. Do you care about people? Perfect! We are founded by doctors who believe it is a privilege to interact with and care for individuals.

If you answered “Yes” to the four questions above, please provide us with some information and we’ll get in touch with the next steps.

We believe in relevance, focusing on material that is most likely to appear on the actual exam. Therefore, every question in the bank is based on topics found in the most recent version of your specialty’s practice model. As you review each question, the category that correlates with the material being tested will appear on the screen. If it’s not in the model, it won’t be on the exam.

Every question in the question bank includes a detailed explanation about the correct answer. We like to say that our explanations are custom built—presented in such a way that the take-home point is obvious and there is no superfluous information.

Why not try it out for free?

Nope, Rosh Review is solely an electronic Qbank. Take us with you on your mobile device by downloading the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Attempting to print, save, copy, or screen capture Rosh Review materials is strictly prohibited. Attempts to use system commands or third-party utilities to capture or save our content is considered copyright infringement and breach of the Terms & Conditions. We monitor all user activity diligently, so attempts to circumvent this may lead to account suspension, termination without refund, or legal action. We don’t want to do this, so please don’t give us a reason to!

No, only your answers to the standard multiple-choice questions are tracked.
